and a Czech chocolate
Korzo is a Central European, farm-to-table restaurant in South Park Slope, Brooklyn, with another branch (Korzo Haus) in the East Village. It is owned and operated by Otto and Maria Zizak—both natives of the former Czechoslovakia. The couple sourced the composition and execution of the entire menu from their generations-long family recipes. Since its opening in 2008, Korzo has received numerous awards, including “Best Slovak Restaurant” – The Village Voice, 4 Stars – Time Out NY, “NYC Classic Burgers” – Travel Channel, “Best Dishes of The Year: Halušky” – The Village Voice and many others.
