Jewish Theater Conference

Day One - Day Two - Day Three - Day Four

In conjunction with our festival, we are hosting the Association for Jewish Theatre’s annual conference on Jewish theater from June 6 - 10. This year’s conference is entitled “Theater of Ideas and Beyond.” It will include a full schedule of talks, workshops, and panels.

Playwrights Israel Horovitz, Donald Margulies, Murray Schisgal, and Itamar Moses, directors Judith Malina and David Herskovits, and Broadway producer Amanda Lipitz will be among the many celebrated guests attending this year.

The conference will take place at 92Y Tribeca, Center for Jewish History, Marymount Manhattan College, Museum of the City of New York, and Theater Three. Admission costs $350 in advance for members, $400 for non-momebers, and includes three kosher meals and five of the plays in the festival. Day passes are also available.

The Association for Jewish Theater is an international organization of Artistic Directors and other producers, playwrights, performers, and scholars interested in Jewish theater.
