November 6 through 12

President Havel attended the Monday performance of The Memo with translator Paul Wilson. He stayed afterwards to congratulate the cast and sign autographs.

Coming up this week are a host of panels, as well as the English language premiere of Mountain Hotel at the Brick theater on Thursday night, followed by a talkback. Also, don't miss Carol Rocamora's informative slideshow about Havel at the Ohio Theater on Sunday at 5:30, and the 7:30 panel "Interpreting Havel" at Makor, featuring a scene from one of the plays and a panel that includes directors Henry Akona, Yolanda Hawkins and Robert Lyons, composer William Niederkorn and translator Paul Wilson.
